  7. The DigiCHANNEL MC/16i is an intelligent multichannel communications board
  8. for the micro channel with a sixteen port I/O configuration. It has 256 KB of
  9. onboard RAM and a 12.5 MHz 80186 processor for efficient data storage and
  10. buffering. It's I/O Mate construction offers RS-232 and RS-422 communications
  11. support and an optional synchronous channel can be added to provide synchronous
  12. support for such applications as PC to mainframe communications. Up to 4 boards
  13. can be used in a system, allowing a capacity of 64 ports. The boards are
  14. delivered standard with a I/O Mate Connection Box that supports 16 external
  15. connections. DigiWARE driver software makes the product compatible with SCO
  16. XENIX and other multi-user operating systems as well as MS DOS and OS/2.
